KUNG FU ZOMBIES First Rehearsal Photos

Kung Fu Zombies vs Southeast Asian Girl Scouts kicked off first rehearsals this month! Here’s a look at our first read-through with the cast, plus sneak peeks from some of the designers and violence director.

In this world premiere by local playwright Saymouka Duangphouxay Vongsay, follow Thin Mint, Samoa, and Do-Si-Do as they protect their Saint Paul community, which was abandoned by local authorities during the zombie apocalypse. Between helping their elders, doing medicine runs, and building campfires, they’ve probably earned, like, four Gold Awards each. But what if the zombies aren’t the most dangerous monsters out there?
