Meet interim education & programs manager Sydney Lin
Hello everyone!
My name is Sydney Lin, and I am overjoyed to be joining the Theater Mu team! Mu has been a cornerstone of my professional career in the Twin Cities as a performer and as a teaching artist, and I am so excited to step into this new role! I have found community in productions and educational experiences through Theater Mu that have taught me more about myself and the cultures we share as Asian American artists.
I am from Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin, and have lived in Minnesota for over six years. I have always been surrounded by music, theatre, and movement. I grew up performing in children’s community theatre and followed that dream by pursuing a musical theatre degree at Minnesota State Mankato. While performing professionally, I also have a passion for education in the arts. I have worked with many different organizations with students of all ages and abilities sharing the love of performance. I have had the joy of being a teaching artist with multiple groups the past three years with Mu and am thrilled to be expanding that position.
Theater Mu has always been for me a space to share and grow. I hope to continue this and invite new audiences to share their stories.
