GENERAL AUDITIONS 2023/24

If you’re a local Asian American, Native Hawaiian, or Pacific Islander actor, we’d love to get to know you better! General auditions will be held in person Dec 11. If you are unavailable for an in-person appointment, video submissions are accepted.

While our 2023/24 mainstage productions will already be cast—check the artist page for all audition announcements—available opportunities include readings, workshops, corporate events, and family and educational programs. We’re looking for both AEA and non-union actors who live in the Twin Cities, and we welcome AANHPI actors of all ages, genders, backgrounds, and abilities. (For AEA actors: Theater Mu is on an SPT6 contract for our mainstage productions.)

For those unacquainted with general auditions, a general audition is a way for the artistic team to get to know you as an artist and a person, whether you’re connecting with Mu for the first time or want to update us on new projects you’ve done and skills you’ve improved. In short, they’re a way for you to join our community of artists and make sure you’re in the loop about future opportunities.

If you have questions, please email info@theatermu.org. Don’t forget to check out other opportunities on our Artists & Auditions page.
